Samsung Wallet has introduced Digital Car Key support for Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs in India, enabling Galaxy smartphone users to lock, unlock, and start their vehicles without a physical key. Mahindra becomes the first Indian automaker to integrate this feature with Samsung Wallet. In case of phone loss, users can remotely lock the device or erase the key using Samsung Find service, ensuring strong security.

This feature is rolling out for Mahindra’s Electric Origin SUVs, including the XEV 9e and BE 6 models, with plans to support more vehicles soon. Samsung Wallet, protected by Samsung Knox security, also consolidates digital keys, payment cards, IDs, and passes into one seamless app integrated within the Galaxy ecosystem. The launch represents a milestone in connected mobility in India, simplifying vehicle use for Galaxy users and enhancing electric vehicle ownership with smart, secure digital experiences.
