Once set up, users can designate their home location by tapping their Bitmoji on Snap Map and selecting “My Home.”
Whenever the user wants to send a safety notification, they simply open a chat with the chosen friend, tap the Map icon in the conversation, and hit the “Home Safe” button. This action triggers a one-time notification alert letting the friend know the user has arrived home safely. The notification is sent only once and automatically switches off afterward, ensuring privacy and reducing repetitive alerts.
