Realme will announce a big partnership with a world-famous camera brand on October 9, 2025, hoping to boost its smartphone camera quality. The brand hasn’t officially named the partner, but many rumors suggest it will be Ricoh, a well-known Japanese camera maker.

This partnership is likely to debut with the new Realme GT 8 Pro, which may launch later this month. The GT 8 Pro is expected to come with advanced cameras, including a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor, a 3x periscope lens, and two 50MP wide and ultrawide cameras.

Realme is joining other top Chinese brands that team up with big camera companies. Xiaomi partners with Leica, Vivo chooses Zeiss, and now Realme could pick Ricoh. The move should help Realme improve its camera features and compete with other high-end smartphones.

Other expected specs for the GT 8 Pro include the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a huge 7,300mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and a bright 6.8-inch 2K 144Hz OLED display. Features like an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, better speakers, and stronger haptics are also rumored.

October 2025 is packed with new launches from Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, OnePlus, and Realme. Camera quality and performance are set to be the main focus for many of these devices.
