Samsung refreshes Galaxy Store design with cleaner three-tab layout in latest update.

The Galaxy Store now features a simplified bottom navigation with three tabs: Apps, Games, and My Galaxy, replacing the previous four-tab setup that included a separate Menu. The old Menu moves to a hamburger icon in the top-left corner, reducing clutter for quicker scanning.

One UI 8 Integration

This update arrives with Galaxy Store version 6.6.17.1 on One UI 8 devices, aligning with Samsung’s push toward icon-based layouts and less text-heavy interfaces in apps like Settings and Gallery. It supports broader One UI 8.5 betas emphasizing usability and customization, such as movable Quick Panel elements.

Rollout Details

Samsung rolls out the change gradually to Galaxy phones and tablets; users can check via Galaxy Store > Menu > Updates > Update All. Wider availability ties to One UI 8.5’s full launch early 2026 alongside Galaxy S26 series.

User Impact

The subtle redesign makes the store feel modern and easier to navigate, fitting Samsung’s 2026 UI direction for smoother, organized experiences despite past stutter issues on flagships.
