Apple is reportedly preparing to launch its long-awaited Smart Home Hub in 2026, with an expected price tag of around $350. According to recent reports, the tech giant is developing two versions of the device: a tabletop model with a 7-inch display mounted on a speaker base, and a wall-mounted variant. Both devices will feature FaceTime cameras and an adaptive smart interface that recognizes individual users and adjusts settings accordingly.

The upcoming home hub aims to be Apple’s most premium device in the smart home segment, priced roughly $50 higher than the current second-generation HomePod. The company is set to manufacture these devices in Vietnam, marking a shift away from its usual Chinese manufacturing base. This move is part of Apple’s broader strategy to diversify its supply chain and reduce dependency on China.

Beyond the home hub, Apple is also developing other smart home products, including an indoor security camera expected by late 2026 and a more advanced tabletop robot with a 9-inch touchscreen and a motorized arm, planned for release around 2027. This robot could cost close to $1,000 due to its sophisticated components.

While the Home Hub’s release might come later than initially expected — after multiple delays linked to Siri’s AI capabilities — Apple fans can look forward to a device that integrates deeply with the Apple ecosystem and brings smart home control to a new level.
