Lava, the Indian smartphone brand known for its budget-friendly offerings, has officially confirmed the launch of its latest device—the Lava Blaze Dragon 5G. Scheduled for release on July 25, the smartphone is positioned as an affordable 5G option in the company’s Blaze series, following the recent launch of the Lava Storm Lite and Storm Play 5G models.

One of the most anticipated aspects of the Blaze Dragon 5G is its price point. Lava has confirmed the phone will be priced under ₹10,000, making it one of the most accessible 5G smartphones on the Indian market. Despite its affordable price, the Blaze Dragon 5G doesn’t compromise on core features, offering a compelling combination of modern specs, 5G connectivity, and the latest Android experience.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset—built on a 4nm process—for a highly efficient and capable performance. It features an octa-core CPU comprised of two Cortex-A78-based cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55-based cores at 2.0GHz, paired with an Adreno 613 GPU. This is coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, expandable via microSD, ensuring smooth day-to-day usage, basic gaming, and multitasking.

The Blaze Dragon 5G sports a 6.745-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1612 × 720 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, a standout feature in this price bracket. With peak brightness exceeding 450 nits, the screen promises adequate visibility in most lighting conditions.
