Nothing has launched its latest smartphone, the Phone (2a), in India. This mid-range phone boasts a unique design with a transparent back, a powerful processor, and a large battery, all at an attractive price point.

Display and Design:

The Phone (2a) features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1300 nits peak brightness. The back of the phone takes inspiration from subway maps and uses a plastic cover with a 90-degree angle unibody design. Unlike the previous models, this phone utilizes a glyph interface with only three separations and 26 addressable LED lighting zones.

Performance and Software:

The Phone (2a) is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro processor, which promises improved display and modem power efficiency. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and runs on Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.5. The company guarantees three Android OS updates and four years of security patches, similar to its previous phones.

Camera:

The Phone (2a) sports a dual-camera system on the back, with both the main and ultra-wide sensors being 50MP withy OIS & EIS. The phone also features a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Battery and Charging:

The Phone (2a) packs a large 5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. The company claims the phone can reach 50% charge in 20 minutes and 100% in 59 minutes. While it lacks wireless charging, the phone promises to maintain over 90% of its battery capacity after 1000 charging cycles.

The Nothing Phone (2a) comes in White and Dark Grey colors and India starts at Rs. 23,999 for 8GB RAM / 128GB storage base variant. The 8GB RAM / 256GB storage variant Price Rs. 25,999, and the top-end 12GB RAM / 256GB storage version is priced at Rs. 27,999. The phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting March 12th and Only for 12th March Phone available in Rs. 19999.
