The OPPO Find X8 Ultra is shaping up to be one of the most exciting flagship smartphones of 2025, with a focus on cutting-edge camera technology and high-performance hardware. Recent teasers and leaks have revealed significant details about its specifications, particularly its advanced imaging capabilities.
The Find X8 Ultra will feature a quad-camera setup, including four 50MP sensors. The primary camera will utilize a 1-inch Sony LYT-900 sensor, promising exceptional image quality. It will also include a 50MP ultra-wide camera and two periscope telephoto cameras: a 50MP Sony IMX906 with 3x optical zoom and another 50MP sensor offering 6x optical zoom. This dual-periscope configuration could deliver hybrid zoom capabilities up to 10x, potentially outperforming competitors like Vivo’s X100 Ultra. Additionally, the inclusion of a Hasselblad multi-spectral sensor is expected to enhance color accuracy and overall image quality.
Beyond the cameras, the device is rumored to sport a 6.82-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with LTPO technology, offering a smooth 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The phone will also feature a robust battery setup, likely exceeding 6,000mAh, with support for 100W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Design-wise, the Find X8 Ultra is expected to have ultra-narrow bezels, IP68/IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, and an option for a leather finish with an approximate thickness of 8.xx mm. It may also include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner and a custom vibration motor for enhanced haptic feedback.
The Find X8 Ultra is set to launch in April 2025 alongside other models in the series, such as the Find X8 Mini or X8S. With its advanced features and innovative camera system, it aims to redefine mobile photography standards and compete for the title of the best camera phone of the year.
