Samsung has unveiled a new addition to its mid-range M series lineup in India, the Galaxy M14 4G. This phone serves as a more affordable alternative to the Galaxy M14 5G launched last year, offering a slightly less powerful chipset but retaining many of the same core features.

Display and Design:

The Galaxy M14 4G boasts a sizable 6.7-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) LCD display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate for a more fluid user experience. The phone features a waterdrop notch housing the 13MP front-facing camera.

Performance:

Under the hood, the M14 4G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage. This combination should provide adequate performance for everyday tasks and light gaming. The phone runs Android 13 with Samsung’s One UI 5.1 on top, and Samsung promises two generations of OS updates and four years of security updates.

Cameras:

On the back, the Galaxy M14 4G sports a triple-camera system, featuring a primary 50MP sensor alongside a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. This setup is likely aimed at casual users who don’t prioritize top-of-the-line camera capabilities.

Battery and Other Features:

The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, helping to keep you powered throughout the day. However, But a charger is not included in the box. Additionally, the M14 4G features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio connectivity.

Pricing and Availability:

The Samsung Galaxy M14 4G comes in two color options: Arctic Blue and Sapphire Blue. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 8,499, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version costs Rs. 11,499. The phone is currently available for purchase on Amazon.in.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy M14 4G appears to be a decent option for budget-minded users in India who prioritize a large display, long battery life, and the latest software experience. However, the lack of a 5G connection and a charger in the box might be dealbreakers for some.
