Calling all sports fans! YouTube TV is upping your game-watching experience with the wider rollout of their “Build a Multiview” feature. This lets you ditch the channel-flipping and watch up to four live streams simultaneously – perfect for catching all the action across different courts, fields, or even different sports altogether.
More Choice, More Control:
Previously, multiview was limited to pre-selected games and news channels. Now, with “Build a Multiview,” you have more control over your viewing experience. While currently starting with NBA League Pass subscribers, the feature allows you to create your own personalized quad-screen of live games, choosing from a selection offered by YouTube TV.
Multiview has leveled 🆙 Forget the scroll and build your own combos, with up to 4 pre-selected games.

✅ head to home
✅ click into the live game
✅ click "watch in multiview"
✅ click "build a multiview"
Enjoy the view!
Here’s the Catch:
There are a few points to keep in mind:
You’ll need an NBA League Pass subscription (additional cost on top of your YouTube TV base).
Not all games are available for multiview – YouTube TV still curates some pre-selected options.
Multiview is currently limited to smart TVs and streaming devices, not phones or tablets.
How to Build Your Multiview Throne:
- Launch YouTube TV on your smart TV.
- Select a live NBA game.
- Look for the “Watch in Multiview” option, now offering “Build a Multiview.”
- Choose from the available games to fill your four-screen extravaganza.
YouTube TV cleverly shifts the processing workload to their servers, not your device. This means even older TVs can handle the multiview action, as they only receive one main stream instead of juggling multiple feeds simultaneously.
Ready to cheer on multiple teams or catch different sports highlights at once? With the expanding “Build a Multiview” feature, YouTube TV is making it easier than ever to be a multi-tasking sports fan. Just remember the limitations and grab your subscription if needed!
