realme has launched its latest Narzo smartphone, the realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G, in India. The phone boasts a premium feature set including a 120Hz AMOLED display, a powerful Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS for the main camera, and support for fast charging.
Display and Design
The Narzo 70 Pro 5G features a large 6.7-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for a lag-free viewing experience. The display can get incredibly bright at up to 2000 nits peak brightness, making it easily viewable even in bright outdoor conditions. It also features “rain water smart touch” technology, which allows the phone to function normally even with wet fingers.
The back of the phone comes in a unique Duo Touch Glass design with a Horizon Glass finish. This combines a mirror glass finish on the top with a matte finish on the bottom for a stylish two-textured look. The phone also supports Air Gestures, allowing you to control various functions like taking screenshots or scrolling through pages with hand gestures.
Performance
Under the hood, the Narzo 70 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, a 6nm processor with a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. This is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, with the option to virtually expand it by another 8GB for a total of 16GB. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB.
The phone runs the latest Android 14 with realme UI 5.0 out of the box and is promised to receive two years of Android OS updates and three years of security updates, similar to previous Narzo models.
Camera
The camera department is a highlight of the Narzo 70 Pro 5G. It boasts a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) for the main camera, ensuring sharp and clear photos even in low-light conditions. The main sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor for capturing a wider range of scenes. The front-facing camera 16 MP For selfies and video calls.
Battery and Charging
The Narzo 70 Pro 5G packs a decent 5000mAh battery that should offer good all-day battery life. When it comes to charging, the phone supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging, which can reportedly charge the battery up to 50% in just 19 minutes.
